Uluberia

Uluberia (উলুবেড়িয়া Ulubeṛiẏā) is a sleepy industrial town in the Howrah district of West Bengal, at the western bank of the Hooghly River. Uluberia is a delightful place for weekend visitors, with riverside views and a popular Kali temple.

🌍 Uluberia South Eastern is the main station serving the town. However, 🌍 Phuleswar South Eastern is closer to the riverside and the Kali temple. Three-wheelers like autos and totos are available from both stations.
By car
It takes about 30 km (19 mi) to reach Uluberia from Kolkata via Vidyasagar Setu, Kona Expy and NH 16.
By ferry
Ferry services are available between Uluberia and Budge Budge.

- 🌍 Anandamoyee Kali temple (আনন্দময়ী কালীবাড়ি Anandamaẏī Kālībāṛi). There's a huge car park opposite the main gate, although it is closed during festivals to facilitate the devotees.
