São José do Barreiro is a town of 4,100 people (2019) and municipality in the Vale do Paraíba region. Like other cities of the Historical Valley Circuit, São José do Barreiro has a strong heritage from the 19th-century coffee farming era, plus beautiful nature at the Serra da Bocaina National Park.
