Luwuk is a city in the east of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The city is the capital of Banggai (regency).

Waterfalls

Salodik Waterfall

🌍 Salodik Waterfall (Air Terjun Salodik), Jl. Trans Sulawesi, Salodik (about 28 km north of Luwuk). Series of terraced pools and falls in a rainforest setting, where the water takes on a sort of turquoise hue. (updated Aug 2020)
🌍 Piala Waterfall (Air Terjun Piala), in Hanga-Hanga community (2-3 km above town taking Jl Flamboyan). Another rainforest waterfall. (updated Aug 2020)

Hills

🌍 Teletubbies Hill (Bukit Teletubbies) (about 8-9 km above Luwuk, take Jl Batu Gn to start). Not the easiest place to get to, but if you have seen the landscape in the Teletubbies show, this tumbly grassy set of hills will probably look familiar. (updated Aug 2020)
🌍 Inspiration Hill (Bukit Keles), Jl. Batu Gn., Bungin. 10:00-23:00 daily. A lot closer than Teletubbies Hill. Provides a good view over the city and sea and has coffee vendor. (updated Aug 2020)
