Estero Milagro National Park
Estero Milagro National Park is a protected natural area in the Northern Paraneña region of Paraguay. It is an area of swampy marshes and bogs scattered between grassy savanna and wooded forest that is an important habitat for a number of aquatic plants and animals and for migratory birds. It is a designated Ramsar wetland.

The park covers an area of about 22,500 hectares.
History
The park was created as part of the Paraguay national parks system in 1995.
Landscape
The landscape is flat with wide areas of grassy plains, clusters of woodland Forest, and a series of lagoons connected by swamps and marshes.

Climate
Get in
The park is a remote area about 15 km south of Concepción, as the crow flies, but without direct access via any paved public roads. It is undeveloped swamp and forest between the Paraguay River and highway 22. It may be possible to find a tour guide in Concepción who can take you into the park.
