Churin is in the Central Coast region of Peru.

In Churin and neighboring villages are numerous thermal pools, some almost to hot for comfort. Many Peruvians come to visit the thermal pools here so the town has plenty of hostels, restaurants and tour operators.

The road is unpaved for about the last 60 km when travelling from Lima.
