Blackstone (Virginia)

Blackstone (Virginia) is a small town in Central Virginia, the largest in Nottoway County.

Understand

Blackstone was first settled before the revolutionary war, originally named "Blacks and Whites" for the two local tavern keepers. It was a railroad town in the 1800s, and maintained geographical relevance in the 20th century thanks to neighboring Ft. Barfoot.
